Launched last year, FlagStone Enhanced is the latest in the FlagStone technical range of Data At Rest devices that directly replace the hard disk drive in desktops, laptops and tablet computers.

By integrating the authentication, the encryption and the data storage into a single tamper resistant hardware module, FlagStone Enhanced provides the ultimate secure Data At Rest solution.

The device interrupts the BIOS process to allow users to authenticate prior to boot up using a single Clearview password and one Ibutton token.

Encryption and decryption take place in real time, independent of the operating system, without performance degradation.

FlagStone Enhanced offers superior protection being the only product in the UK certified to protect classified Data At Rest up to Top Secret level and able to decrease that Protective Marking by two levels when powered off.

Even if lost or stolen, the data is secured.

The device requires no annual maintenance charge and is compatible with all operating systems, patches and imaging applications.   FlagStone Enhanced employs a lifetime data encryption key.  

FlagStone Enhanced is DIPCOG, CAPS and CSE approved to handle protectively marked data up to Top Secret; this reduces by two levels when the computer is powered down.

Secret is reduced to Restricted
Confidential is reduced to Not Protectively Marked
Restricted is reduced to Not Protectively Marked
